Day 260, Praying Mantis

I don't remember ever meeting a praying mantis before. I kind of like their cute, little, alien faces.
And this is a look at the corn maze at Mapleside Farms.  I took this photo during the Johnny Appleseed Festival and don't let this photo fool you there were at least a gobzillion people there. If you want to check out the corn maze it will be open until November 5th.

Day 257, Soybean Field

Did I over edit this photo? Maybe. Maybe not. I keep staring at it. I like the different textures.

Day 222, I Really Do Love Clouds

I also love keys, owls, and countless other random objects but I seem to gravitate towards clouds when I take photos.
Sadie was enjoying the clouds also. For this pic I used a vintage Lightroom preset. It pleases me.

Day 213, Storms to the South

An impressive set of clouds floated past just to the south of us.

Day 195, Cloudy Moon

I thought today was the full moon. I was bummed the clouds where in the way and then thrilled because the clouds were amazing! The full moon is tomorrow so I'll try again tomorrow.

Day 172, Lightening Bolts

There was an amazing lightening show tonight! This is my first time photographing lighting bolts and I cannot wait for the next lightening storm.
Before the lightening I took a picture of a delicious pineapple with an off-camera flash.

Day 168, Helicopter

Helicopter cruising over my house.
Is it just me or have the clouds seemed truly phenomenal lately?

Day 130, Ambition

“Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.” ~ Salvador DalĂ
I see a theme developing. Wonder if I'll find an appropriate photo/quote combo for tomorrow.

Day 124, Dandelions & Blue Skies

Finally able to go outside! I snapped these at the Margaret Peak Nature Preserve in Eaton Township. I had never been there before but I will certainly go there again, hopefully next time I'll be able to find the trails. :/

Day 117, More Rain Clouds

It feels like there is a Charlie Brown style rain cloud lingering over our heads.  Good grief...
