Our cows are starting to get big enough to be a little scary when they come running.
If my husband was a cartoon he would be wearing overalls and have a frog in his pocket. He is always coming to the house with random animals that he has rescued from various dangers.
Jeremy came home from the hospital today! Now he's able to catch up on a couple days worth of sleep because it is nearly impossible to sleep in the hospital.
Today was scary. Jeremy went to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. After about four hours of waiting it was determined Jeremy had a spontaneous pneumothorax or collapsed lung. He made the whole thing look way to easy. This is a picture of Jeremy's vitals and the room where they inserted his chest tube. *shiver*
I made a dessert today using these very strawberries. It was not pretty. :( Tasty enough, but not pretty. I do not like this photo much either. It was a bit rushed much like the dessert.
I helped Jeremy fix the car today. I can totally say I helped because I got him a flashlight, plugged something into an outlet, and handed him a machine part. Oh...and I rode to the store with him to pick up the part he needed. Whew, I need a break. :)
Barn swallow on a hot tin roof. And then another one (or perhaps the same one) who found himself trapped inside Jeremy's workshop until he was bravely rescued by Jeremy.
No barn swallows were harmed in the taking of this photo.
After breaking my elbow and now dealing with a truly annoying bout of the flu I've been neglecting my photo-a-day duties (this photo was actually taken on June 4th). I've decided to not be all that concerned about this setback. While I will continue to try to create a new photograph everyday on the days that I cannot I will post a recent photo instead.
♫ Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;♫
♫Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back.♫
♫Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win, it's a shame.♫
♫For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.♫
On June 11th I didn't technically take a photo. I took these photos at 2:30AM on June 12th and as far as I'm concerned it counts for a June 11th photo. What was that? You disagree? Let us consult the judges. Judges? They agree with me.
In honesty I really wasn't going to take a photo at all for June 11th. However around 2am the dogs started freaking out, barking at something invisible outside. When I got up to investigate the moon was a spooky kind of amazing and I had to take a picture.
It pains me a great deal to admit this but I didn't take this photo today.*sigh* Sadly, I tripped over my big clown feet and landed on my elbow, which I didn't realize was made out of fine china. I did try to take a picture but I really wasn't feeling it. And since this is my project I'm going to take a day off. I actually took this photo on May 27th. It's part of a series that I want to hang in my office.
I really wanted to take a photo of a delicious ice cream sundae today but when the girl handed me the ugliest ice cream sundae I have ever seen I changed my mind. So my ever lovable husband drove me to the Carlisle Reservation Duck Pond. There was exactly one duck but he put on a nice show. :)
The plant in my office at sunset. I'm genuinely shocked this lil' guy (his name is Jasper) is still alive. I don't have the greatest success with keeping plants, goldfish or saving accounts alive.
Today I had the pleasure of helping my husband prep for a new concrete sidewalk. Unfortunately I really didn't have any time to take a photo. Thankfully, I had the foresight that may be the case and I quickly snapped this with my cell phone seconds before it died.
And for some reason I completely lost my watermark stamp. How I managed to lose the silly thing is completely beyond me. :( Hopefully, it will turn up. I made this mark quickly, not that it was really necessary or anything. After using the watermarks for so long the photo just didn't feel complete without one.
