Day 148, Grainy, Cranky Morning

One of many. This one actually values his life and is staying outside. We have a strict "no insects/spiders/crybabies in the house" policy.

Day 141, Baby Chicken Impluse Buy

My husband went to the store to buy dog food and came home with 12 little chicks. He couldn't pass them up because they were only a $1 a piece. I didn't think we needed anymore chickens, but they are just sooo cute.

I took this photo while going east on route 82 (before the baby chicks came). I have always liked the womanly curves, haha, of the road there.

Day 140, Brandywine Falls

 Brandywine Falls in Northfield, Ohio 

 I decided to visit the falls today on a whim. The problem with whims is they don't care if I have a tripod in the car or not. Stupid whims.I live moderately far from the falls but hopefully I'll be able to go back with a tripod someday.

 More for the alphabet series. Actually, I really don't like the Letter A from before now that I've had a couple days to look at it :( So I'm just going to start over. :)

Day 139, Around the House, Part 2

I have been headache central all day. I took these photos while randomly walking around my kitchen.

Day 137, More Rain

This picture is incredibly similar to the photo I took for Day 112 but to be fair this rain is very similar to the rain we have had for the last 112 days. Give or take a day.

The letter A. This photo is going to start my alphabet series.  Since my goal is to use these photos for my own use I will lean toward the blue/green colors.

Day 136, No Electricty

The electricity was out for a few hours early this morning reminding me just how dependent on electricity I am. First thought, I'm going to make some coffee. Oh wait, no can do. Second thought, I'll turn on the news to see if the electricity is out everywhere. Wow, now that was a really stupid second thought.  Third thought, I'll use my laptop. Ummm...it's not working. Ahh, so the router uses electricity too. Final thought, I'm going back to bed.

You can almost hear the light switches taunting you when the electricity goes out.

Day 135, Close Enough

Seriously considered skipping my photo for today. I was distracted all day. :( Then minutes before midnight I decided "I will not give up! I will take a photo today!" Oh well. Close enough.

Day 126, Rainy Drive

In the movie "Yes Man", the always adorable Zooey Deschanel played a woman who was in a jogging photography club. Today I thought it would be fun to start a riding-in-a-car photography club. Well. I didn't really think it would be fun at first but Jeremy was too busy to stop or slow down for me. Then I realized trying to take a photo on a rainy day while driving at 50mph was actually lots of fun. :) The first picture I took while sitting at the gas station. I was in the car, buckled in so it counts. My rules.

Yeah, I really did start posting three photos of the day.

Day 125, Afternoon Tea Break

Another gorgeous day! I really wish I had time to lounge around outside all day. I think I will schedule myself an early evening tea break as well. :)


And if you like iced tea, I adore the Lipton Cold Brew. It's easy-peasy!

Day 124, Dandelions & Blue Skies

Finally able to go outside! I snapped these at the Margaret Peak Nature Preserve in Eaton Township. I had never been there before but I will certainly go there again, hopefully next time I'll be able to find the trails. :/

Day 123, Around the House

A bedtime story: A beautiful princess was peacefully napping on the couch when around 9:30pm she suddenly woke to notice the show she had been watching was over. She groggily pulled herself up and went to brush her teeth. She was about to take her vitamins and proceed to bed when she remembered she had yet to take a picture for the day. *gasp* If she failed to take a somewhat meaningful photograph before the strike of midnight surely she would be turned into an ogre!  She quickly took a few photos of some of her favorite household items and posted them to her daily photo blog. That was a close one… The end. 

From looking at these two items it occurs to me that I really don't have an easily definable personal style. And my bedtime story teaches me that I'm a giant dork, more so when I’m tired. Goodnight.

I'm not a chess player and neither is Jeremy. I guess the sole reason for our owning this game is so I can photograph it while we discuss what movie we want to watch...I'm thinking Searching for Bobby Fischer.
