Day 87, Stall Latch

Day 86, Orchid Mania

This is from Orchid Mania at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. I know just about nothing about flowers except they are pretty. Are those even orchids in this photo?

Day 84, Straw on the Window

They finally replanted the grass in the front yard. However the straw they blew over the grass seed has covered the whole front of the house. And now that it has started to snow again there are little pieces of straw frozen to the front windows. (The frozen straw is not pictured, this photo is from earlier in the day, before winter came back.)

Day 83, Baby Ginger

Last month we went to a livestock auction. Today we went back and bought three baby calves. This is the smallest and cutest, Ginger.

Day 82, Pistachios

This might be my least favorite photo so far this year. Yes, definitely my least favorite. I cannot pinpoint exactly what I dislike. I think it might be the shell-less nut on the right side or simply the fact that I didn't spend a lot of time or effort on this photo.

Day 80, Tommy Boy

Went to one of my three favorite sister-in-law's ☺ house tonight for dinner and a movie. We watched the movie Ladder 49, which has got to be one of the saddest movies ever. When I got back home I needed to get the depressing movie out of my head and I needed a picture for the day. Tommy Boy works like a charm.

Day 79, Dying Camera

A couple weeks ago I thought I misplaced my little camera. I wasn't too terribly concerned. I often misplace the little guy. Then a friend came over with my poor soggy camera which had been found outside in a puddle. I'm guessing what happened is he fell out of my bag back when there was tons of snow and I didn't hear him fall. So the poor little fella sat out in the cold for who knows how long feeling unloved and miserable. After we were reunited I dried him off and gave him a good cleaning and he started to perk up. I was starting to think he might actually make it. I even took my last two photos with him to try and make up for my carelessness.  But he's not looking so good anymore.

OK! Fine, I'll admit it!  I did not take this photo on March 16th. (gasp!) I wasn't feeling well and completely forgot to take a photo. But instead of feeling like a complete failure and giving up I'm going to move forward like this never happened. So today, March 17th, I took a photo of my car because I was planning on cleaning the car yesterday too.

I've had this little thing as long as I can remember and today I just realized that that is kinda weird. It's not really my style and I'm awful with losing and breaking things.

The wonderful weather has finally melted all the snow, leaving us with an obscene amount of mud and water also know as a doggie playground.

Day 70, Warm Winter Day

Today, March 11th, was 70°!!! It was really nice to just sit outside on the deck and soak up some sun.

Day 65, Orange Blossom

On a technical side I took this picture in about five minutes because I was entertaining guests(a very grown up way of saying "I had friends over") and the guest who this drink was made for was getting thirsty.  I didn't realize at the time but my giant head was reflected at the very bottom of the glass, so I used a bit of Photoshop to fix that.

I took this photo while Jeremy was driving and I cannot recall exactly where we were. Of all the pics I took today I liked this one the most because it is a little moody, like I am today.
